Sophia was born in Montreal, Canada and raised in Athens, Greece, right by the beautiful Greek blue sea. After high school she moved to Chicago, IL to attend college and is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. Shortly after graduation Sophia moved to Reno to attend UNR for graduate studies, where she met her husband Jimmy, a Nevada native from Hawthorne, NV. Together they moved to the Carson Valley in 2000, where they welcomed and are raising two children and adopted one lovely mutt who fancies herself to be a princess. Sophia is always quick to point out what a wonderful place the Carson Valley is to raise a family, great schools, wonderful community and lots of raw natural beauty.
Sophia started her career in real estate at the age of 19, taking a part time job as an assistant for a successful Realtor in Chicago, IL. Over the years she has held various positions in real estate companies, in Illinois and Nevada, on the administrative side of the business ranging from assistant to office/marketing manager and now a licensed Realtor. Her attention to detail and love for the Carson Valley make her an exceptional Realtor, and matching clients with the perfect property is a 24/7 mindset for her.
